Shelly-Ann Mohammed is the President & CEO of the Latin American & Caribbean Counsel Association (LA&CCA) and has over a decade of experience in law and executive leadership. Her influence on the professional landscape in the region is profound, with her expertise spanning various sectors including, manufacturing, finance, banking, real estate and distribution.

With a background as, the former head of ACCA, leading their strategic operations and team in South America and the Caribbean, as an international lawyer who has worked for AmLaw150 law firms in New York and Connecticut and as the Group Chief Legal Officer for the largest conglomerate in the region encompassing over 65 companies in 32 countries worldwide with total assets exceeding TT$100 billion and Vice President Legal Affairs of a leading regional drinks manufacturer, Shelly-Ann brings invaluable insights to Colibri. Her outstanding academic credentials include an MBA and Masters in Global Business Studies from Oxford University, where she was a Merit scholar. She holds degrees from the University of Western Ontario, the University of Exeter, and the University of Connecticut, where she was a Dean’s Scholar.
