Sues’ career spans some 40 years in the tourism and hospitality sector. During this time, she was involved with managing a number of luxury hotels in Barbados; she was CEO of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association for a period of 16 years and also lectured at tertiary level in the UK, at the Barbados Hospitality Institute and the University of the West Indies.

Sue lived in the Caribbean for 30 years serving on a number of local and regional councils and boards, interacting with both the public and private sectors, which has provided her with the awareness and passion for the development of the region. Sue was presented with an award during the 50th Independence anniversary celebrations from the Government of Barbados for her contribution to Tourism.
